GB 563 general purpose silicone sealant is designed for:
Watertight seal for the joints of glass, ceramics and other
Joint seal for wall, floor, ceiling, foot lines.
Perimeter seal of home decorations.
Sealing and fixing application in furniture manufacture.
GB563 should not be applied:
As structural glazing sealant.
As mirror silicone sealant or mildewproofing silicone sealant.
To the surfaces requiring painting on sealant.
For continuous water immersion.
To underground joint.
To asphalt surfaces.
When surface temperature below 4℃ or over 50℃.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
GB 563 should be stored in original unopened containers. It has a
shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.
HOW TO USE
Clean all joints removing all foreign matter and contaminants such
as oil, grease, dust, water, frost, old sealants, surface dirt, or
glazing compounds and protective coatings.
Apply GB563 in a continuous operation using dispensing guns. Before
a skin forms, tool the sealant with light pressure to spread the
sealant against the joint surfaces.
